The basic run down is this:

 

• Create your toon

  • ​Species include cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, horses, pigs, mice, bears, and monkeys

  • You can be different heights and different sizes

  • You can be multi-colored or single colored (on special occasions you can also create black cats and polar bears)

  • Pick an outfit

  • Name your toon (you can select random titles or Type A Name to get creative, submitted names are subject to ToonTown Rewritten staff approval)

• Complete the tutorial

  • Flippy will walk you through some basics and help you through your very first battle. (if you create additional toons later, you can skip this tutorial but often times you may want to complete it especially in the case of creating polar bears or black cats depending on what the process is that occassion.)

• Toontasks

  • Your first Toontasks include Riding the Trolley and Shopping in Clarabelle's Cattlelog and subsequent tasks can vary on the task and the reward. Remeber to shop around instead of taking the first task you see for the reward. Different Shop Keepers and HQ Officers will offer the same reward for different levels of tasks. Sometimes you may want to go to different playgrounds and street shops if the tasks seem outrageous. 

• Gag choices

  • Your first two gag tracks are throw and squirt, after completing your first few toontasks you will get the chance to select your next Gag Track

  • You can also now plant a gag track for Organic Track bonuses

  • Some gags are more powerful than others, some attack all cogs at once and Toon Up allows you to heal other toons in battles. Be sure to research what gags you want early on since you can only ever have six of the seven available tracks.

• Laff Points

  • Your toon begins with 15 laff points and as you complete Toontasks, Boss battle promotions, fishing, gardening, racing and soon golfing (hopefully) you will earn additional laff point boosts

• Playground progression

  • Your toon will begin at ToonTown Central and progress through Donald's Dock, Daisy Gardens, Minnie's Melodyland, The Brrrgh and Donald's Dreamland.

• Boss Battle promotions

  • The first boss battle you can complete is the Vice President or VP, located in Sellbot Headquarters

    • You earn your Sellbot suit through completing Factories 

    • You progress through all the cog suits by earning merits and level up from Cold Caller to Mr. Hollywood (Hollywood promotion laff boosts are given at Level 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50)

  • The second boss battle you can complete is the Chief Financial Officer or CFO, located in the Cashbot Vault

    • You earn your Cashbot suit through tasks after completing Donald's Dreamland task

    • You earn your cogbucks through defeating Cashbot Mints (Coin, Dollar and Bullion)

    • You progress through all the cog suits by earning Cogbucks and level up from Short Change to Robber Baron (Robber Baron promotion laff boosts are given at Level 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50)

  • The third boss battle you can complete is the Chief Justice or CJ, located in the Lawbot Courthouse

    • You earn your Lawbot suit through tasks after completing Donald's Dreamland and your Cashbot Suit

    • You earn your Jury Notices through DA offices in the Lawbot Courthouse

    • You progress through all the cog suits by earning Jury Notices and level up from Bottom Feeder to Big Wig (Big Wig promotion laff boosts are given at Level 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50)

  • The fourth boss battle we hope is coming soon to TTR is the Chief Executive Officer or CEO, located in the Bossbot Clubhouse in Bossbot Headquarters

    • You earn your Bossbot Suit through tasks after completing your Lawbot suit 

    • You earn your Stock Options through Cog Golf Courses

    • You progress through all the cog suits by earning Stock Options and level up from Flunky to Big Cheese (Big Cheese promotion laff boosts are given at level 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50)

• Laff it up! 

  • Keep gaining laff point boosts through promotions, gardening, and fishing! Be sure to check the OTHER pages for more info on how to get your laff boosts through these activities.
